Center punch your holes and use a lube oil and the bits should last a long time.. Bits are marked for size and show "HSS Co" stamped on shaft. I would definitely purchase these again.

still basically a HSS drill bits when the coating wears off. for the price couldn't expect it to be full cobalt drill bits. one thing for sure they are really sharp. just don't use it on metals harder than stainless steels.

Bem afiadas e com uma moagem de alívio na borda traseira/de ré, as flautas também são afiadas para uma boa evacuação de chips em buracos mais profundos. Estou à espera que estes se mantenham afiados por muito mais tempo do que as brocas HSS normais, passam por acrílico, alumínio, ferro fundido e aço macio com facilidade e sem necessidade de furos de piloto, embora mais precisos. Se são bons o suficiente para o duplo impulso, então é excelente para mim.

Well sharpened and with a relief grind on the back/trailing edge, flutes are sharp too for good chip evacuation in deeper holes. I'm expecting these to stay sharp much longer than normal HSS drills, they go through acrylic, aluminium, cast iron and mild steel with ease and no need for pilot holes, although more accurate with. If they're good enough for doubleboost then it's excellent for me.
